Primary Purpose of Position

The Associate Director, Business Systems will manage the company’s ERP and CRM systems, ensuring that they are being utilized to their fullest potential. 

This position analyzes business system use and makes recommendations on improving productivity.

 

Principal Responsibilities

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead all day-to-day usage of ERP and CRM applications, including maintenance of configurations and key system integrations.
  • Serve as the liaison between business process owners, IT and business operations to ensure alignment.
  • Lead business analysis efforts for new ERP and CRM functionality.
  • Work cross functionally with various teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Information Technology to resolve issues that arise.
  • Partner with business and Information Technology project teams to ensure system and business objectives are understood and met and financial information is reconciled.
  • Ensure systems are achieving appropriate compliance requirements as it relates to financial reporting and required regulatory controls.
  • Design, build, and deliver requested and ad-hoc reporting, analytics, and dashboards using industry-leading reporting tools.
  • Serve as a data steward for all financial and customer data, playing a key role to ensure data integrity and support leading-practice data governance.
  • Educate users and departments as necessary with respect to usage, policy, and best practices within the company's ERP and CRM applications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Business Process Management or related discipline or equivalent number of years of work experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience managing business systems such as ERP and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act control requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines.

 

Preferred

  • Experience managing ERP and CRM systems in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales environment.
