  • Primary Purpose of Position

    The MSL will be part of a medical affairs team focused on providing scientific and clinical support to Osiris’ sales and market access teams, and liaison with external scientific and clinical stakeholders.  Original thinking, self motivation and drive are essential.

    Principal Responsibilities

    The duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

    • Develop and deliver scientific and clinical presentations to support Grafix, Stravix, TruSkin and other products in commercial accounts.
    • Attend local, regional, and national meetings to represent Osiris in front of payers.
    • Cultivate relationships with local, regional and national key opinion leaders.
    • Represent Osiris at wound care meetings and exhibitions.
    • Answer scientific and disease state questions for Osiris field personnel.
    • Encourage the development of abstracts for submission to wound care meetings.
    • Participate in relevant HCP advisory board meetings
    • Participate in manuscript development from gathered clinical data.
    • Develop and conduct relevant clinical and scientific training for internal stakeholders.
    • Informs on developments in the clinical and scientific market in wound care
    • Respond to unsolicited requests for information from HCPs
    • Respond to on-going Medical Affairs requests for information from providers
    • Support pharmacovigilance / medical device reporting activities as required by obtaining additional information from HCP reporters
    • Other activities as directed and approved by CMO.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Ph.D., MD, DPM, RN, or C-NP, or PharmD.
    • 2-3 years minimum relevant experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry environment or 5 years of experience in wound care field.
    • Outstanding record of execution.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic team environment.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Peer reviewed publications
    • Live in the assigned territory - Pacific Northwest

                PREFERRED:

     

    • Previous experience with skin substitutes or cell biology space
    • Previous Medical Affairs experience in commercial setting  
    • Previous experience treating patients with chronic wounds
    • Peer reviewed publications in wound care

     

     

    TRAVEL:

    • 60-75%
