  • Primary Purpose of Position

    You will be responsible for overseeing raw material processing for Quality Control including work order processing according to Standard Operating Procedures.

    Principal Responsibilities

    • Performs inspection and tracking of raw materials.
    • Initiates, performs, and completes work orders.
    • Documents performance, results, and inspections according to SOPs.
    • Reviews documents for compliance to specifications and reports anomalies.
    • Assists with receiving samples into QC.
    • Prepares samples for testing and ships to external testing facilities.
    • Investigates out Of Specification results.
    • Investigates and assists with writing deviations.
    • Contacts manufacturers and/or distributors for raw material documentation.
    • Reads, understands and follows SOPs to comply with all applicable regulations.
    • May write and revise supporting SOPs and specifications as needed.
    • Provides training for new employees on raw materials as needed.
    • Maintains spreadsheets and logs relating to raw materials.
    • Interacts effectively with company management and internal departments and multiple manufacturers/distributors as needed.

    Ability to work consistently in a fast-paced environment with little supervision

     

    BS degree preferably in a Biological Science field
